What is air-dry clay?
Air-dry clay is a soft, mouldable clay that hardens naturally when left out to dry—no oven or kiln required. It’s easy to work with and perfect for kids, beginners, and relaxed creative projects at home.
At Claying, we use premium, high-quality air-dry clay that stays soft and workable for longer. Unlike cheaper air-dry clays that can dry out or crack quickly, ours allows you to take your time and enjoy the process. Once finished, your creation will harden as it air-dries.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes 😊 Our air-dry clay is non-toxic and safe for children when used as intended. It’s soft, easy to shape, and designed for hands-on creative play.
We recommend adult supervision for younger children, especially when using sculpting tools or small pieces. As with any craft material, the clay should not be eaten and hands should be washed after use.
Time to complete 1 animal packet?
On average, completing one animal takes 30–60 minutes, depending on age, skill level, and how detailed you’d like your creation to be.
Can I remake my animal if I mess up?
Yes! Simply reshape the clay while it’s still soft. If it starts to dry, a small amount of water can help soften it again.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order has been collected by our courier, you’ll receive an email with your tracking details. You can use this to follow your delivery as it makes its way to you.
